Okay, so you've spent a romantic, candle-lit, food-fueled Valentine's Day with the only you love. You've digested it all--even that dessert--slept in (late...we're talking afternoon) and now it's Saturday (February 15) and you're ready to go.
Take thee to the Museum of Modern Art. They have a cool V-Day tradition that many folks don't know about.
You should arrive at the museum at 7:30 p.m., and you'll enjoy a candlelit reception in the Terrace Café on the sixth floor of the Jerry Speyer and Katherine Farley Building. We're talking vino, savory bites, plus a sweet treat that you can enjoy while admiring Kerstin Brätsch's installation, Fossil Psychics for Christa, commissioned specifically for the reopening of the museum in 2019.
Following that, there will be an hourlong tour where you'll explore new collection galleries with a guide. Yup, there will be modern masterworks, but you'll also discover new favorites. With no crowds.
How cool is that?
Tickets are $113 per person and you can grab some here.
