God, we love summer! And there's probably nothing better than listening to music under the stars. Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport is the venue for over sixty shows here in the city for the next few months.
So who's taking the stage? Check out this list: Simple Plan, Elvis Costello & the Imposters, Blondie, DEVO, Pusha T, The Offspring, Jason Mrza, Rise Against, The Used, Dashboard Confessional, Franz Ferdinand, Jason Isbell, Bikini Kill, Sum 41, Flogging Molly, Deftons, The Head and the Heart, The Cult, The Psychedelic Furs, Jessie James Decker and Mayday Parade, to name a few.
Killer line-up, right? I mean, Elvis? Blondie? Come on!
The shows run through October 22, so there's plenty of time to catch a performance. (And getting there is easy-peasy...a quick subway ride from the hotel.)
Ticket prices vary wildly. Heineken green zone tickets are more expensive, but garner you seats right next to the stage and a dedicated beer concession. There's also an add-on to the ticket price giving you access to the Grey Goose Terrace, with unparalleled, birds-eye views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the lower Manhattan skyline, with lounge seating and dedicated food and specialty cocktails for purchase. (You can't see the stage, but can watch the performances on screens in the lounge and can hop out and catch the live show any time you want.)
All attendees will have access to gourmet food concessions and drinks.
