The fun lasts from Friday night through Sunday and there a who's who of today's top acts scheduled to perform: Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Ellie Goulding, Carly Rae Jepsen, Leon Bridges, King Princess, Caroline Polachek and Young Thug, to name just a few. Indie, pop, rap, hip-hop...they'll all be represented.
This year the festival moves to Citi Field, a quick ride on the 7 train. A three-day general admission ticket costs $319 plus fees. One-day passes will set you back $129. (Not bad considering the amount of music you'll be able to hear.)
There are almost too many food and drink options to count. Food vendors include Gordo's Cantina for tacos, Palenque Columbian arepas, San Matteo Pizzeria, Sweet Chick for chicken and waffles, Empire BBQ, No Good Burger Joint and The Pizza Cupcake. (That's a thing!?!?!? We don't know how we feel about that.) On the booze side you can expect Bacardi, Stella Artois, Tito's vodka, Babe Wine and good ole Budweiser.
As you'd expect, proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID test is needed for entry.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
