It's the tenth year for this gathering of music lovers and do-gooders. The Global Citizen Festival is a 24-hour global event, featuring stellar musical performances from all over the world: Lagos, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Sydney, and. of course, New York City.
The NY concert, which takes place on the Great Lawn in Central Park at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24th, is free, but requires tickets.

The app will hand out various tasks, such as signing petitions, writing letters to politicians, sharing messages on social media and more. The show promises to be a big one: Mariah Carey is the headliner, and other acts include Metallica, Charlie Puth, Jonas Brothers, Maneskin, Mickey Guyton and Rosalia.
