Former hotel guest Billy Preston (1946-2006) was an American musician whose solo work in rock, soul, funk and gospel also made him a favorite sideman with The Beatles (Get Back) and The Rolling Stones (Sticky Fingers). As a matter of fact, he worked with the Fab Four so much that some dubbed him "The Fifth Beatle".
But he was also a successful artist in his own right. Nothing from Nothing, Will It Go Round in Circles and Outa-Space are just a few of his 70s-era hits.
His stage presence was nothing short of joyous, as you can see from this video:
