Did Someone Say Discount?

Mark Twain famously said, "The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

The same goes for our fair city.

New York is officially open and better than ever, and many of our cultural institutions want to lure visitors back with deals. They've joined the It's Time for Culture program, which offers markdowns at museums, cultural institutions, performing arts venues and off-Broadway shows throughout the month of October.

Price reductions take the form of two-for-one admission or 25% off tickets, and forty venues are participating.

The institutions taking part in this event are nothing to sneeze at: Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, New York Botanical Garden, Museum of the Moving Image, the Intrepid Museum, Dizzy's Club, Lehman Center for Performing Arts the the Guggenheim, to name a few.

Head here to check out all of the offerings and purchase tickets.
