We know, the lounge at North Square is the best, but sometimes you just want to grab a drink while you're out and about in the city.
And in the winter, nothing's better than plopping down by a fireplace with something hot (and strong!) to warm your tummy.
Here are a few of the bars with fireplaces that we like the best:
The Bilnd Tiger Ale House was one of the first craft beer bars in the city--and right here on Bleecker St.!
Sample craft cocktails at Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs, set in a circa-1800s townhouse in Tribeca.
Travel to the UK at Churchill Tavern in the Flatiron district, a quaint English pub with a variety of beers on draught.
The decor at The Cambell, in Grand Central pays homage to John Campbell, a Jazz Age financier, who converted the space into his private office and reception hall in 1923. Sip a classic cocktail surrounded by the custom wood and brass finishes in this architectural gem.
Joyface, in the East Village has a 1970s vibe, complete with a disco ball. Head their early-ish and enjoy a cozy cocktail on their plush couches.
