The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Gardens is back, and runs through April 27th. (Start date is February 15th). The exhibition has been going on for over two decades, and is a favorite among New Yorkers. Spring is definitely on the horizon!

Inside you'll find thousands of species of the beautiful flower, and this year? It's all about Mexico, as the show is inspired by the bold, multicolored designs of Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragán.

Tickets will get you daytime access to the Orchid Show, plus all the rest of the facility's outdoor gardens and collections. Prices are $39 for adults, $35 for seniors and students, $17 for kids 2-12. Peanuts under two are free. Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Sunday, and select Monday holidays.

In addition, on select Saturday evenings, adults can visit and enjoy music, dancing and cocktails and food for purchase. ($45)
