Here's something that we think is not only romantic, but inexpensive to boot. (Nice combo, huh?)

On every Tuesday through September 24th, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is open evenings until at least 8 p.m.--8:30 through the end of August. For only the price of the $15 admission, visitors can enjoy sunset views, summer blooms, seasonal cocktails and special programming.

Bring a blanket and a little bit of cash to buy food and drink (wine, beer and summer cocktails). Then stroll the gardens, drink in hand and that special someone by your side.

The Yellow Magnolia Canteen on site serves modern, vegetable-focused, locally-sourced cuisine in a full-service setting. Try the ancient grain bowl or the house tacos!

If you arrive around 6, head to Magnolia Plaza and partake in a free, garden-wide guided walk.
