High Line

The High Line

March 29, 20251 min read

The weather is starting to warm up, people!

And a great way to welcome spring is to head to the High Line, our most unique public park. The High Line is built atop a former elevated railway, a kind of crazy, urban oasis. It's length stretches about a mile and a half from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to 34th St. near Hudson Yards.

You'll stroll past over 500 species of plants, taking in stunning views of the Hudson River and Manhattan's skyline. Benches are scattered about for a little rest and people-watching.

Snack on Shake Shack burgers (the best!), or something else from the various other vendors that will set up shop this spring (think gelato, popsicles and other yummy stuff).

Throughout the year, the park hosts outdoor performances, art exhibitions and community events, plus art installations, often from world-renowned artists. Right now there are tours of the park, along with stargazing events in the evening.
