Do you love Only Murders in the Building as much as we do?
Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez shine in this comedic murder mystery TV show set in our beloved New York City. For those not in the know, the trio play three neighbors, Charles, Oliver and Mabel, who solve murders that take place in their (obviously jinxed) pre-war Upper West Side building, the Arconia. With Martin and Short, you know the show's going to be hilarious, and Gomez has proven her comedy chops as well.
Now you can solve your own murder at the Arconia with an Only Murders in the Building escape room in Midtown. The game is played across a couple of rooms that have been outfitted to look like the the Arconia hallway and Charles's apartment. The premise: players will have 60 minutes to locate a missing movie reel containing crucial scenes of the Only Murders in the Building movie.
The contest is played by up to 8 people at a time, at a cost of $49 each, and is available until mid-January. If you're not into the show, there are other escapes available in the facility, like a prison break and playground game. Each is ranked in order of difficulty. (OMITB is an 8 out of 10.)
Oh--and if you want to see the actual exterior of the building used in the show, head up to the Belnord on 86th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam. With any luck, the trio could be shooting a scene the day of your visit!
