Mixers of our very favorite tequila and lime juice tipple will be getting together tomorrow (April 27) in a competition for the best margarita in New York City. And believe us, there are many to choose from in our food and drink obsessed town. Not to brag, but we've personally taste-tested dozens.

Dobbin Street in Brooklyn will host this margarita-off, just in time for cocktail fans to get in some practice before Cinqo de Mayo.

So who's putting forth their best sips? Local mini-chain Dos Caminos, La Esquina Tacqueria, Rocco's Taco & Tequila Bar, Astoria's Mojave and Javelina Tex-Mex, to name a few.

Attendees can sample each margarita and vote for their favorite while enjoying live music and noshing on chips and salsa and bites for purchase from Oaxaca Tacqueria.

So here are the deets. There are three, two-hour sessions: 12:45 - 2:45, 3:45 - 5:45 and 6:45 - 8:45. 

Tickets are $45 for all you can imbibe. VIP tickets cost $20 more and gain guests access 45 minutes before the crowd..so more for you!

Why? Because you love tequila. And you deserve it.
