It's back, people! And the weather promises to be beautiful.

Listen up:

WHO: Runners from over a hundred countries who train their butts off all year long to finish this 26-and-change mile course. And there are a lot of them: Around 51,000 people made it to the end of the whole course last year. 

WHAT: The New York City 2024 Marathon, of course!

WHEN: This Sunday morning, November 3rd. The earliest runners will start at 8 a.m.

WHERE: The course travels through all five boroughs. The starting line is in Staten Island at the western end of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and will cross the finish line in Central Park at 67th Street, just outside of the iconic Tavern on the Green. There are some decent viewing spots in Manhattan, like First Avenue (Miles 16-18), East Harlem (Miles 18-20), Fifth Avenue from East 90th St. to East 105th St. (Miles 23-24) and Columbus Circle. 

WHY: To witness first-hand the sheer grit and determination of the runners and cheer them on!
