Q: What is the NYC Hot Sauce Expo?

A: A throat-burning, XXXX, hair-on-fire extravaganza celebrating our most popular condiment today. Attendees will be able to sample dozens of vendors' wares, including such esteemed, blow-your-head-off specialists like Big Reds (Phoenix), Chris Santos (NYC), El Yucateco (Yucatan) and Dirty Dicks (Norwell, MA).

Not only will a ticket gain you free hot sauce tastings but you'll be able to witness a bunch of crazy challenges, like the Guiness Book of Records Reaper Eating Contest, the World's Hottest Ramen Challenge, the Hot Diggity Dog Diggity Challenge, and our personal favorite, the Chihuahua Beauty Pageant. Specialty beers, cocktails and tasty, fire-dousing grub will be available for sale.

The hot fun will happen this weekend (April 13th & 14th) at the Brooklyn Expo Center. General Admission is $15. ($10 if you snag them online.) Kids 10 and under are free.

Our only quibble? Where is Ronnie Jenkins in all of this??? His hot sauce is the best!
