Design Week Store Tour

Design Week Store Tour

November 07, 20231 min read

Here's a cool thing for all the fashionistas and fans of design in general out there. From May 10th through May 22nd, avid shoppers (window or otherwise) will have an opportunity to peek behind the curtain at what goes on behind the scenes in the key design districts in New York City: Soho, Flatiron, Greene Street and Madison Avenue.

The  $85 tour will be guided by leaders in the NYC design community, and will enable folks to meet the newest stars of design and gain insight into their creative process.

The Flatiron District offers the widest range of decor, vintage, furniture and flagship concept stores, such as ABC Carpet & Home and Herman Miller. Honestly, in our opinion, the Flatiron Building alone is worth the trek for lovers of design.

Anyone who has ever walked up Madison Avenue knows that it is the center of luxury emporiums and heritage brands: Prada, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana to name a few. Soho is the premiere destination where brands redefine themselves and new brands are launched, like Alexander Wang, Céline, and Miuccia Prada's Miu Miu. And the Greene Street Tour will highlight that district's more experimental home furnishing and interior designers, like Cite and Design Within Reach.

Here are the dates for each district:
Flatiron: May 10, 11, 14, 16
Soho: May 10, 11, 14, 16
Madison Avenue: May 17, 18, 21, 22
Greene St.: May 17, 18, 21, 22
