sunbathers in Central Park

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!

We stumbled upon this cool article chock full of photos that depict our beloved Central Park in the eighties...and now.

Yeah, 1980-anything wasn't the best of times for our fair city, our parks included. Trash, graffiti...the park was not a place anyone would want to hang out in. Those scary stories you'd hear about crime in Central Park? That was the eighties, but not now. It's a safe haven for the whole family and a treasure once again....full of lush greenery and friendly people. The Central Park Conservancy has poured hundreds of millions of dollars into the upkeep of this 843-acre oasis smack dab in the middle of the city. Take a stroll and you'll come across gardeners and trash collectors at every turn.

So check out the photos here.

Doesn't it make you want to come for a visit?
